The War Memorial itself is a beautiful structure that resembles a tower. It is, in fact, a replica of the Amar Jawan Jyoti that lies in New Delhi. The War Memorial honors the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the safety and integrity of the nation at the 1971 war.
Submarine Kursura
The INS Kursura is a Kalvari class submarine which served the Indian Navy faithfully for 31 years. It even served a part, albeit small, at the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
