The nearest Domestic Airport is Salonibari Airport, Tezpur. It is connected by flights to Kolkata and Guwahati. Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, 170 km away at Guwahati is the nearest international airport.

By Rail :

The nearest Railway Station is Tezpur Railway Station which is connected to the all major cities of Arunachal Pradesh.

By Road :

Buses and Taxi ply regularly between Tezpur (Assam) and Bomdila, and Tawang

Sela Pass

Sela Pass is a paradisiacal place where enchantments can be found in galore. If you love nature, you are going to enjoy it very much. In fact, your jaw may end dropping a few times. During the winters, the pass is completely covered in dazzling snow. As you approach this fantastic land, you will have to pass by a splendid lake that is appropriately named Paradise Lake.

Tawang Monastery

The Tawang Monastery is a wonderful structure whose beauty is highlighted by the elegance of nature that lies around it. Although located at a foothill, the majestic monastery is actually seated at a height of 3000m. The Tawang Monastery is the second oldest in the world and looks appropriately spectacular.

Shonga-tser Lake

The beautiful lake was actually the creation of an earthquake in 1950 that devastated the region. The beauty of the lake only goes on to show that good things can come out of bad events. Prior to the earthquake, the area was complete grassland used for grazing the cattle. Now the waters of the lake gently caress the land and create an enchanting picture with the proud mountains in the background.

Jaswant Garh

The peaceful Jaswant Garh is the home of a brave solider of the Indian army, Jaswant Singh. Jaswant Singh fought valiantly against the Chines during a battle in 1962 and gave up his life for the country. Jaswant Garh is now a silent memorial honoring the courage and selfless patriotic nature of Jaswant Singh.
