Built in the year 1965, the Bomdila Monastery perfectly encapsulates the essence of the Buddhist religion. Its facades look amazing and the construction has been done to perfection. The walls have been painted in a peaceful shade of white but have been adorned beautiful by carvings and other colors. The monastery is the home to the Mahayana sect of Buddhism.

Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary

The amazing Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over 217 square kilometers. You can enjoy some sensational views of nature here. The Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary is filled with small yet lovely waterfalls and the sparkling Kameng River flows through the verdant green landscape.The Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, rather appropriately, is the home of an incredible variety of birds. Of course, you will find eagles here along with kingfishers, pheasants and ducks. Other animals include langurs, black bears and red pandas. Additionally, there are more than 165 species of butterflies fluttering about with their colorful wings in the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary.

Sessa Orchid Sanctuary

The astonishing Sessa Orchid Sanctuary came into existence in the year 1979. It is immense and is spread over 100 square kilometers as a place where orchids can grow with abandon. The landscape of Sessa Orchid Sanctuary is filled with deep valleys and quaint hills. This verdant landscape is cut apart by rivers that look like blue ribbons against an emerald carpet. More than 200 different species of orchids can be found here shining in bright colors against the green background. There are many animals here as well such as the red panda and the pheasant.

Tipi Orchidarium

The Tipi Orchidarium lies languidly by the side of the River Bharali. The Tipi Orchidarium is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the amazing varieties of orchids that Arunachal Pradesh has been blessed with. In fact, the Tipi Orchidarium is home to more than 50,000 orchid species. That includes the rarest verities and the new hybrid ones that are created in the research center of the Tipi Orchidarium.
