Hungary

Hungary : Exotic Europe

Hungary is vastly different from any other European country or any country for that matter. Everything about it has an exotic feel to it, from its languages to its cuisines to its wines.

The scenery in Hungary is gentle in its prettiness. It is beautiful without being overwhelming. However, the architectural heritage of Hungary is a different matter. It is a treasure trove of riches. Ancient ruins of the Roman Empire dot the landscapes carved by town houses from the medieval era. Baroque churches jostle for space with public buildings from the neoclassical age and schools of the Art Nouveau style. Architectural wonders can be found at every corner of Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen and other cities. Check out the Mosque Church of Pécs and the Reök Palace in Szeged.

Hungarian cuisine is easily among the most sophisticated in the world. Revel yourself in its culinary art followed by any of the amazing range of wines. When all is said and done, you should head towards one of the 300 hot springs that have been in vogue since the Romans walked these streets. Enjoy the original Turkish bathhouse architecture or Art Nouveau styles as you relax in the warm bubbling waters.

Hungary can be a remarkable place to have a holiday. It is exciting and relaxing in equal measures.
