Kedarnath Temple

Shankaracharya Samadhi

The Shankaracharya Samadhi contains a memorial to one of the most revered philosophers of Hinduism. His contribution to Hindu theology and philosophy cannot be underestimated. The Samadhi was unfortunately destroyed in a flood but plans are underway to rebuild and restore the holy site to its former glory.
