There are several private luxury video coach and state buses available between Nashik and cities like Pune, Shirdi, Aurangabad and Mumbai. Maharashtra State Transport buses connect Nashik to distant places of Maharashtra. Daily Taxi service is also available between Nashik and Mumbai.

Trimbakeshwar

The Trimbakeshwar Shiva temple is among the more sacred temples of Hinduism. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered to be one of the 12 jyotirlingas. The splendid temple is located right near the mouth of the River Godavari. The architecture of the temple is stunning.

Tapovan

Tapovan was once a part of the lush green forests of Dandakaranya. It still retains is natural charm is picturesque to behold. Tapovan literally means place of meditation and there is certainly a serene feel to the place to help you ruminate and get lost in your thoughts. That will, in fact, be a great way to while away the time as you roam around the alluring landscape. There are temples here dedicated to Lord Ram and other Hindu gods and goddesses. According to legends, Lord Ram lived here during his exile and it is also the spot where Lord Lakshman cut of the nose of Surpanakha, the sister of the demon Ravana.

Muktidham

The beautiful walls of white marble of Muktidham hide a grand sight inside. Muktidham is an enchanting complex of temples dedicated to many of the popular gods and goddesses. There are even replicas of the 12 holy jyotirlingas here. Each temple and idol has been crafted finely showcasing the dedication of the craftsman.

Pandav Leni

The Pandavleni caves were built during the 3rd century BC and 2nd century AD. These caves were created by Buddhist monks and represent the Hinayana sect of Buddhism. These caves used to serve as halls where the monks could gather to pray and read sermons. Additionally, the caves are filled with fine sculptures.
