By Rail :

The nearest railway station is at Piparia about 47 km from Pachmarhi. There are direct trains from Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai to Piparia.

By Road :

The city is also well linked with some of the major cities of India.

Jamuna Prapat (Bee Fall)

The glorious sheet of water gets shredded by the cliff rocks and fall on your shoulders massaging you completely. Even the sight of the milky froth of the waters descending gently can be a soothing experience. A relaxing bath can also be enjoyed in the pool.

Mahadeo

The famous shrine of Lord Shiva rests on the beautiful hill called Mahadeo which shares its name with the shrine. The stunning image of Lord Shiva and the grandeur of the Shivalinga help in creating a holy aura around the place calming you. Natural beauty hangs around the hill. The cave which houses a holy pond is spectacular as well.

Jata Shankar

Natural wonders fill this splendid grotto. The presence of a naturally occurring Shivalingam cemented its reputation as a holy place for the devotees of Lord Shiva. Step into the mysterious grotto and the numerous chirps of birds will regale you with their song. Listen closely and you may hear the sound of water tricking down an opening. Quite enigmatically, nobody knows where this water comes from.

Pandav Caves

Myth surrounds the caverns located on a small hillock. According to the myth, the five caves provided sanctuary to the five Pandav brothers when they were forced into exile. These simple and yet beautiful caves did, however, provide shelter to Buddhist preachers during the 1st century.

Christ Church

The fantastic church was built in 1875. The stained glass panes are stunning in their sheer brilliance. As the light enters wistfully through these colorful panes, you will be bathed in many colors but you will be simply staring at the beauty before you. These panes were imported from Europe. The chimes of the ancient brass bell resound through the landscape of Pachmarhi when rung.
