Tipu’s Fort

Also known as the Palakkad Fort, this historic monument stands like a proud warrior in the heart of the town. The surrounding stretches of dense forests provide the perfect background for this magnificent structure. History was made at this fort. The sober grey laterite walls remind the visitors of the valor of the fierce Tipu Sultan who courageously fought against the English colonialists.

Parambikulam
