Over two-thirds of the world population of this magnificent beast lives here in the scenic grasslands of Kaziranga.The National Park is divided into different parts but each of them has some fascinating sights to offer. However, the most exciting thing you must experience in Kaziranga is the safari on an elephant. This thoroughly enjoyable safari is just amazing. How to Get There

By Air :

Kaziranga is well connected by air to almost all the major cities in India. The nearest airport is Jorhat 105 km away from the park. The other airport is Guwahati airport 215 km away.

By Rail :

The nearest railhead is Furkating, situated 75 km. away from Kaziranga National Park which is Well-connected to Guwahati. Intercity Express train that interlinks Furkating with the towns of Dibrugarh and Guwahati on a daily basis.

By Road :

The main gate for Kaziranga National Park, at Kohora on the National Highway No. 37. Distance from other places; Guwahati: 194 km, Jorhat: 105 km, Furkating: 75 km,Shillong: 288 km, Manas National Park: 283 km
