Roar of the Tiger
The spectacular Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is often referred to as a jewel which seems appropriate given that nature has been displayed spectacularly here.
The thick forests hide in its emerald depths a seemingly endless amount of treasures. An uncountable number of species of both flora and fauna can be found in this amazing landscape. You can hire a jeep and go on an exciting safari through the incredible treasure trove of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is actually a combination of two separate reserves which are the Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Tiger Reserve. The splendid Andhari River can be seen meandering its way through the beautiful green carpet.
If you are lucky, you may glimpse the rare sight of a tiger calmly making its way towards the river to have a drink of water. Tiger sightings are, in fact, quite common here. As you roam around the forest, you are bound to run into a tiger walking down the forested tracks like a proud ruler. Apart from the Bengal tiger, you are bound to meet some other inhabitants of the National Park. They include the Leopard and the Sloth Bear. There are great herbivores here as well such as the Nilgai, the Barking Deer, the Indian Bison, the Spotted Deer, the Sambhar and the amazing Flying Squirrel. Langurs and wild dogs are common here as well.
