Birthi Falls

The huge cascade at Birthi will leave you stunned at its magnificence. Birthi Falls is the perfect example of the unrestrained beauty of nature. Over the roar of the waterfall, you can get to hear a pretty music from the innumerable birds that live around here. Aside from the birds, numerous butterflies live here. Together they add a dash of color to the scenic waterfall. 

Thamari Kund

A picture perfect sight can be enjoyed at the Thamari Kund. The clear blue waters of the natural lake reflect a greenish hue from the innumerable paper trees that line its banks. The picturesque sight will be enhanced if you are lucky enough to witness a Musk Deer taking a few sips of the cool water. In fact, a sizeable population of Musk Deer lives near here. 

 

 

Barkot

Barkot is a quaint little town on the banks of the Yamuna River. Its languid atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. You can enjoy some refreshing walks in the cool air while nature surrounds you with some ravishing sights. In the distance the Himalayan mountains rise up in all their majestic glory. Nanda Devi Temple

One of the most ancient temples in the region, the Nanda Devi Temple is surrounded by an incredible panorama. Snow clad Himalayan Mountains light up in the distance. Closer, the verdant green of the forested mountains tug at your heart. The old temple is just as nice to look at and is a very spiritual place.
