Corbett National Park : The Home of the Man-Eater

Man eating tigers were quite common in the Kuamon region. People were terrified of them. Their horror stories spread far and wide and attracted the attention of the renowned hunter, Jim Corbett. This legendary hunter put a stop to this menace. Later in his life, Jim Corbett became a champion of conservation and did his best to protect the magnificent tigers from extinction.
